ISLAMABAD, Dec 29 (APP):Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Sunday released 32,900 c
usecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 39,800 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, water level in River Indus at Tarbela Da
m was 1471.55 feet and was 73.55 feet higher than its dead level of 1,398 feet. Water inflow and outflow in the da
m was recorded as 16,300 c
usecs and 11,000 c
usecs respectively.
The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla Da
m was 1132.55 feet, which was 83.55 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. The inflow and outflow of water was recorded 5,600 c
usecs and 4,000 c
usecs respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa , Guddu and Sukkur was recorded as 20,300, 14,600, 18,900 and 1,100 c
usecs respectively. Similarly, from River Kabul, a total of 11,700 c
usecs of water released at Nowshera and 6,200 c
usecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
